"As a strong believer in the BNI ethos of if you give business, you will receive business, it was an easy decision for VK Colourworks Ltd to join the Barum Chapter seven years ago.

We made our registration fees back from our first referral job, and the business we have received from BNI has continued to grow each year.  

We have been given a referral for a complete refurbishment of a hotel, including the decoration, all furniture and furnishings, lighting, bedding and kitchen equipment.  We were also able to introduce other BNI members to the hotel owner such as the flooring company, web designers and marketing company.  

The hotelier was so pleased with the work, that she has now commissioned us to help her with her with future projects.

Last year we introduced a new service – Holiday Home Package, which enables anyone who is looking to rent their property out, to ensure that it is furnished (including all kitchen items, and bedding as well as furniture and lighting) to a 5 star letting standard.  

We asked BNI members, firstly get feedback on this service and our point of sale.  Subsequently we have been passed business worth over £120,000.  One of these referrals was for some holiday homes in Newquay.  From working in this area, and networking with local companies, we are now helping a potential seven new clients with over 80 properties to furnish.
