Successful businesses depend on 'word-of-mouth' marketing as the best form of promotion there is.
Locking out the competition
We only allow ONE representative from each trade or profession in a group.
These groups (called chapters) meet on a weekly basis for only one purpose – for the members to pass each other business. BNI trains its chapters to be extremely effective at finding business for the members.
BNI provides a structured, supportive, business environment in which local business people can get together to network, learn valuable new marketing skills and develop the strong personal relationships that lead to trust and the consequent generation of significant business for each other.
Only one representative from each profession .. surely this limits the networking potential?
Not at all. The key thing to know is that it is not just members of the chapter who give each other the business - it is the large network of friends, clients and contacts that each member around the table knows and can pass business to. Sometimes the most extraordinary links create the most amazing and fruitful business opportunities.
It also means that the Chapter's members really do work as a trusted team who can rely on each other and can recommend, with absolute confidence, that the business and service is of a high standard.
