James was educated locally at West Buckland School and went on to Swansea University where he obtained his degree. He joined the firm in 2005 as a trainee mortgage adviser. He obtained his certificate in mortgage advice in 2006. James was made a Director in 2011 and is working towards further accreditation towards his financial planning exams.

In his spare time he plays rugby for Bideford RFC and enjoys spending time with his wife Anneka and daughter Bronte. He also cites ‘Stars in their Eyes’ as his all time favourite television programme and he hasn’t found anything to replace it since 2006!
